MEET THE TEAM
- About Chloe Pearson -
Chloe has always had the drive and passion to turn what started out as a hobby into a career and business. Chloe was a longstanding member of the Fernie Hunt Pony Club, with whom she had multiple successes at Team Competitions, PC Areas and PC Eventing Championships; finishing 2nd in the Novice Championships in 2016, 5th in the Intermediate Championships in 2018 and 2nd in the Open Championships in 2018.
Chloe began eventing with British Eventing in 2015, fairly late in the eyes of most young riders, but managed to work her way up the levels thanks to the support of her parents and her partner James. Chloe's 2016 season marked the start of heading towards a professional career, she had many success' on her two horses Garryduff Chacoa and Garrybritt Calvin, alongside a couple of rides for owners, particularly in the u18 classes, and finished the season representing the Midlands Team at the u18 Championships jumping a double clear.
In 2017 Chloe purchased the horse that would climb the levels eventing with her, Benvenuto Hattricks Hotsocks. Hattie was a green 8 year old but in her first season had several placings up to Novice level. Since then the pair have continued to grow as a partnership and finished the 2019 season jumping clear round Aston and Allerton Park Advanced Classes. They also finished on their dressage score at the Young Riders Championships at Houghton Hall in the CCI3*YR-L.
For the 2018 and 2019 seasons Chloe gained support from owners, trusting her with producing their horses in eventing. Chloe had some great results' Galwaybay Donna owned by Ann Atkinson developed into a competitive Intermediate Event horse, also placing 5th at Frickley Park CCI2*YR-L. Five year old Jonathan Blue owned by Lottie Brewster had a fantastic season, with 9/13 top ten placings including 3 wins up to Novice level. He also qualified and competed at the Osberton 5yo Championships where he finished on his dressage score.
Chloe hopes to keep building on previous success and continue to build her team of horses at the yard. She has always had a passion for training young horses, as it is so rewarding to be part of a horse's development. Hence why she has taken a liking to breeding her own future stars!
In 2019 Chloe also graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a BSc degree in Equine Sports Science, the knowledge she has gained during this degree has definitely influenced how she trains and cares for all the horses, with an informed science based approach.
